Moonlight Iris is the floral source for inspired hearts and natural beauty, serving a variety of Events, Weddings, Campaign Collaborations, and Private Parties. Using trusted techniques, we work with customers to create timeless and unexpected florals to match their unique vision and style.

Founder, Maria Jenkins has developed a reputation for beautiful and organic floral designs with relaxed, yet sophisticated components. Maria works based on seasonality + personality and has a versatile background in Art, Apparel & Agriculture. Since growing up surrounded by cypress trees and hydrangea bushes in New Bern, North Carolina under the influence of her Grandfather’s keen farming + integral business skills, father’s green thumb and her late mother’s watercolors, a designer bloomed at an early age; it was clear Maria was destined to combine creativity with nature.

Maria lived in Colorado from 2011-2017 while working in the Potato & Onion world supporting growers and their distribution process, but as the western winds blew, Maria explored through passion projects and followed her direction as a florist in late 2013 as flowers were hitting the supermarket scene. After working in two wildly talented flower shops for hands-on training, Moonlight Iris was officially born in January 2015. Moonlight Iris resides back in the Carolinas since Fall 2017, headquartering in Charleston, SC with her daughter and greatest inspiration, Eve, and to also live closer to family + her beloved crystal coast and lowcountry.
